estarcor Engineering, a private
company in operation since
August 2000, was recently certi-
fied as ISO 3834 Part 2 compliant.
Because Westarcor Engineering
services an international client base,
being ISO 3834 certified became a
necessity. It was found that without
certification it was not possible to be
globally competitive, especiallywhen
undertaking repairs or the fabrication
of new pressure vessels.
“The process to become certified
was not that difficult,” says Ben Ven-
ter, QAprojectmanager ofWestarcor.
