Velvet line of built-to-order, high resolution indoor
LED panels.

2014 in Las Vegas (June 18 to 20), the high-output

The Illumination Engineering Society of South Africa
will approached IESSA members and request that
they apply to be certified by the Development Com-
mittee as being 'a competent lighting practitioner/
person' in the various fields of speciality as ratified.
The Society believes that any full IESSA member,
who follows the Society’s guidance and follows the
published lighting design guides, should be deemed
to be a competent person.
IESSA registered designers should be versed in
the understanding and interpretation of photomet-
ric data, the performance of luminaires and light
sources, and the application of the lighting codes
and can be described as a competent person who
can design lighting schemes.
Application forms will be available on the IESSA
website or contact your branch Development com-
mittee chairperson. Completed applications will be
ratified by the Development Committee. An ID card
will be issued to all applicants after ratification, and
listed on the IESSA website
