South African manufacturer Pratley aims to launch three new electrical termination products in 2021, specifically for the offshore, oil and gas, industrial and shipping industries, all of which present particularly harsh and hazardous operating environments. “It is an exciting time for us,” says Sven Breedt, who heads up the electrical R&D division.

Available from Instrotech, Keller’s range of five intrinsically safe electronic pressure gauges is designed for use in areas subject to gas explosion risks. The type approvals are compliant with the ATEX Explosion Protection Directive regarding explosive gases. The electronic design of the devices is trimmed to minimise energy consumption, and it is also possible to replace the batteries inside areas with explosion risks.

The Cat® range of rugged smart and feature phones are designed to go beyond general expectations of what a phone can and should do. They serve well in demanding work environments, such as the signage, printing, rigging and manufacturing sectors. Every external surface of the Cat® S42 is enhanced with advanced antimicrobial product protection, making it the first anti-bacterial phone.
